Which binding route should I choose?
Saddle stitch for conference programmes and order of service, perfect bound for annual reports and brand books, wire-O for workbooks that lie flat, case bound for limited-edition hardbacks.

Saddle stitch sets wire staples through the spine fold: the fastest route, bound in-house with same-day available, for 4 to 60 pages in multiples of four. Best for conference programmes, event guides, sponsor brochures and order of service booklets.

Perfect binding glues the text block to a wraparound cover for a flat foiled spine: 12 to around 500 pages, printed, collated and bound here, so allow a few days. The standard route for brand books, monographs, thick trade brochures and short-run paperbacks.

Wire-O threads a double-loop metal coil through punched holes so pages open 360 degrees and lie flat: bound on-site, no minimum, same-day available, wire in black, white, silver and gold. Best for workbooks, pitch books, lookbooks and reference manuals.

Case binding makes a hardback with a sewn text block and rigid board cover: 5 to 7 working days, cloth, buckram, leather or printed-paper-over-board, minimum 50 copies for economical pricing. Best for limited-edition monographs and corporate gifts.

Finishing, in-house
In-house: emboss and deboss, spot UV, lamination, die-cut covers, digital foiling in metallic and holographic, and special-effect toner in metallic, white, clear gloss, neon and holographic.

Tell us trim size, page count, binding, stock, run and deadline. Quote back the same day, usually within the hour.

Design or upload
Work with our in-house design team, or upload a print-ready PDF or InDesign package. Every file checked for bleed, resolution, profile and spine width.

Proof and approval
Digital PDF proof on every job, plus a physical bindery dummy in production stock on perfect-bound and case-bound work.

Print, bind, finish
Digital press under 500, offset over 2,000. Saddle stitch, wire-O and finishing in the same building; perfect and case binding take a little longer.
Every booklet, brochure and book ships on 90% FSC-approved paper, under our 2029 Carbon Neutral commitment across both locations. We report waste monthly with FirstMile Recycling, and digital printing runs virtually zero waste: no plates, no chemical processing.

Four routes: saddle stitch (staples through the fold, 4 to 60 pages), perfect binding (glued flat spine, 12 pages up), wire-O (metal coil, lies flat) and case binding (sewn hardback for premium editions).
A brochure runs 2 to 12 pages of promotional messaging; a booklet runs 8 pages up with longer editorial content. Same printing process, the difference is editorial intent.
From 4 pages to about 60 on standard wire, up to 200 on heavy wire. Pages come in multiples of four, since each folded sheet carries four printed sides.
Yes. Short-run book printing from 10 to 500 copies on our digital press, longer runs on offset, perfect-bound paperback or case-bound hardback, for self-published authors, theses and monographs.
