Acrylic Printing

Brief

Design something "special" and re-usable for display.

With flat bed printers we are able to print directly onto virtually any flat surface, be it metals, plastics, pulp boards and even wood. For this project we printed directly to 10mm clear acrylic to simulate perfume bottles.

Printing direct to the acrylic the effect of liquid was retained (being semi-transparent) and then to further add to the effect we backed the solid areas (labels and bows) with opaque white ink.

Finishing was router cut on our digital cutters along with acrylic "feet". Our client was extremely happy with the final product and use them throughout the world.
